In order to enable better support for people with autism in higher education and employment, it is essential that professionals in universities and the companies or administrations that employ them are trained in autism and find the necessary resources and support.
With this in mind, the Aspie Friendy Resource Centre contains a selection of resources to help everyone become aware of autism, understand the general issues, or more specific to the university context.
Aspie Friendly training:
The Aspie Friendly programme offers access to a range of training materials that can be used to train or run training courses under the programme.
The Dys Mooc is a European online training course organised in November 2018 focusing on learning disabilities and comprising on 3 modules: a common pathway, a “parents” module and a “teachers” module
Parcoursup : measures to support applicants with disabilities
Are you a high school student with a disability? On Parcoursup, you are not obliged to declare your disability or to provide any personal information. But if you wish, Parcoursup has set up a number of mechanisms to help you throughout the procedure. This video will explain them to you.

As part of the Aspie Friendly programme, a training session on the functional particularities of people with an autism spectrum disorder, led by Patrick Chambres, was organised at the University of Poitiers.
Towards an inclusive university:
The conference “Towards an inclusive university – Issues and applications” was organised at the University of Poitiers, in the framework of IDEFI Paré. Three themes were addressed during this training day: “Challenges and promises of the University”, “Universal design for learning” and “What inclusive approach at university for students with ASD”.
Pedagogical accessibility of education for all:
In order to improve the pedagogical accessibility of teaching for all, in particular for students with cognitive and psychic disabilities, the Paris Institute of Political Sciences, in partnership with Agefiph and Fiphfp, has produced a series of 10 videos depicting the relationship between teachers and students with visible or invisible disabilities.
